Frequently asked questions

A FEW ANSWERS.
A CLEARER START.

Here’s what to expect when you get in touch, from the first request to discussing the work.

Getting started

Will I work with you or a larger team?

I’m your main point of contact and lead the work. When an issue needs more specialized expertise, I can bring in contacts who handle that kind of work. We’ll discuss their involvement, the scope, and any additional costs before moving forward.

What can you help with?

Computer troubleshooting and setup, small business IT, custom PC planning and upgrades, Wi-Fi and networking, and business websites. Tell me what you have in mind so we can check the fit.

Do I need to know what’s wrong before contacting you?

No. Describe what you’re trying to do, what happens instead, and when the problem began. Screenshots or exact error messages can help, but you don’t need to diagnose it yourself.

What should I include in a request?

Your name, a way to reach you, the device or service involved, a short description, and your location or preference for remote help. Please leave out passwords, verification codes, and sensitive documents.

Location & availability

Where are you based?

I’m based in Starke, Florida, with professional IT experience in Gainesville. Contact me about your location so we can discuss local or remote options.

Can you help remotely?

Some software, account, and configuration issues may be suitable for remote help. Hardware problems may need in-person work. We’ll discuss what makes sense for your issue and agree on any access required.

Do you offer walk-ins or 24/7 emergency support?

Work is arranged by appointment. This site does not advertise a walk-in storefront or guaranteed emergency coverage. Please contact me to discuss availability before planning a visit or relying on a response time.

Pricing & process

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the task, the setup, and the agreed scope. Tell me what you need so we can discuss a quote before work starts. Parts, licenses, travel, and third-party services are discussed separately when relevant.

Is submitting a request a booking?

No. A request starts a conversation. The appointment, scope, and pricing are confirmed separately.

How does the contact form work?

Fill in your details and click Send request. Complete the spam check if prompted, then wait for the confirmation page. Your request is emailed to Kaleb; you do not need to open an email app. An appointment and any pricing are agreed separately.

What if the work needs more than we planned?

If new information changes the proposed work, we’ll discuss the next step before expanding the scope. For more complex issues, I can bring in specialist contacts and discuss any additional scope or costs with you first.

Experience & services

How long have you been working with computers?

I built my first computer at 14 and have continued learning and working with technology since then. My professional background includes a University of Florida IT internship and an IT Operations Specialist role that began in December 2025.

What certifications do you have?

I hold CompTIA A+ and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications, both earned in 2026. I also hold an A.S. in IT Security Infrastructure and am pursuing a B.A.S. in IT Security at Santa Fe College.

Do you work with small businesses?

Yes. We can discuss workstation support, Microsoft 365 and account administration, office networking, practical security improvements, websites, and documentation. The service scope and availability are agreed for your needs.

Can you build a PC or help choose upgrades?

Yes. Start by sharing the budget, what you use the computer for, and any parts you already own. We can discuss compatibility, assembly, setup, and whether an upgrade makes sense.

Can you build a website using my domain?

We can plan a website around your brand and domain. The hosting platform, DNS connection, features, and ongoing costs are discussed as part of the project.

Is this business connected to your employer?

No. Kaleb Martin Tech Help is independently operated. The employers and institutions named on this site describe my personal experience; they do not endorse or operate the business.
